The Federal Government of Nigeria today, conceded citizenship to a sum of 335 outside nationals in Abuja. They were allowed citizenship by the Federal Government after statutory leeway and due constancy by the applicable security agencies.
The Minister of Interior, resigned Lt.- Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau, who displayed the declarations of citizenship to the nonnatives, charged them to be great envoys of Nigeria. Mrs Lara Oshiomhole from Cape Verde, who got hitched to previous Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomole, in 2015 was one of the beneficiaries.
It was accounted for that Dambazau in his comments, said that 335 candidates were endorsed by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) in January, out of the more than 500 nonnatives that connected. He clarified that 245 of the outsiders affirmed were allowed Citizenship by Naturalization, while 90 were by Registration, for the most part remote ladies hitched to Nigerians.
